Participating Artist

Julia E. Stevens developed a love for art as a child, sketching by the St. John's River and in the Great Smoky Mountains. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Florida Southern College, she taught art in the Broward County School District until retirement. Now, she focuses on enhancing her skills, painting landscapes “en Plein Air,” as well as still life and portraits. Stevens has won numerous awards for her artwork, which is displayed in private collections and galleries across the southeastern United States.
