Joe Basco's journey from military illustrator to airline pilot and dedicated artist showcases his passion and talent. Born in 1954 in northern California, he began his artistic journey in youth and honed his skills through high school. His military service in the 1970s allowed him to develop his art further, contributing to training manuals and winning a photo contest in Europe. Now based in north Georgia, Joe specializes in watercolor, pastel, and oil painting, excelling in plein air competitions that capture the beauty of the region.
