Participating Artist

Julie discovered her passion for painting later in life. Her initial instructors, Melanie Ponchot and Marc Chatov, taught her that mastering the craft requires both learning and practice. They also emphasized the importance of pursuing what brings her joy. As she explores her unique style, she aims to create abstract works that incorporate simple forms while effectively conveying her vision. Julie has taken part in numerous plein air events, earning several awards throughout her journey. She believes, “Painting outside provides a sense of joy like no other.”
