Participating Artist

Cynthia, a proud native of Aiken, South Carolina, has dedicated 34 years to her painting career, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Atlanta College of Art in 1978. She focuses on capturing light and color to convey messages and immerse viewers in her work. Cynthia has also served as an art director in Kentucky and ran a graphic design business for 20 years while raising her children. Now living in Murphy, North Carolina, she draws inspiration from the Blue Ridge Mountains, serves on the Cherokee County Arts Council, and teaches painting classes.
